The Blush comes from Finland and plays pop punk with influences from pop rock, skate punk and dance pop. To date The Blush has released five singles, EP and a music video. Since 2012 they have raised interest in the U.S., Latin America and Europe via airplay, and tours in the U.S., the UK, Portugal, Spain, Gibraltar, Russia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Finland.

In 2016 they played at the Whisky a Go Go in L.A. The Blush released All or nothing single in May 2017 which received airplay in 50 different radiostations globally!

"Then finally the headlining act took the stage, Finnish pop punk band the Blush. The lead singer Sakke Wallenius stole the show, not unlike Gwen Stefani of No Doubt and Pink. The only female on stage that night showed everyone how to front a band. But the whole band were full of energy from start to finish. Their set was a lively blend of pop and rock, But the highlight was the slow, emotionally charged ‘I try’, which really demonstrated the strength and also delicacy of Sakke’s vocals. Just lovely. Another stand-out track was catchy ‘Wicked’, a song they released along with its own music video in 2011. What also set the band apart was their chemistry. They knew how to perform together, so it didn’t surprise me they’d been a band for 9 years now. Sakke also had no reservations about interacting with the crowd, energy reminiscent of 90s alternative bands like Blink 182 and the Offspring. Whether you’re not familiar with pop punk, not a fan of it, or maybe even hate it, you could only feel entertained by this bunch."
